Dan Van Norton is Manager of Youth & High School Strategy at the National Football League. He leads strategic initiatives focused on driving participation in youth and high school football. Dan leads the pipeline strategy for flag football and high school participants. In addition, he assist in managing existing relationships with football partners and developing new partnerships with external organizations.

 

He is a flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects. He brings highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, improving and streamlining complex work processes. He's had extensive involvement in all levels of relationship building, operational support and program development.

 

Prior to joining the NFL in 2016, Daniel worked in Major League Baseball’s Youth Programs Department.  He executed operational and logistical assignments for over 40 youth initiative events aimed to increase participation numbers in baseball and softball.  He served as National League Director for over 200 Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) leagues both domestically and internationally and assisted in the planning and execution of MLB and USA Baseball’s PLAY BALL activations during the regular and postseason.
