Brad Abramson is Vice President of Documentaries and Non-Fiction Programming for A&E and a two-time Emmy winning Executive Producer.
Brad creates, develops, and oversees series, specials, and documentaries at A&E. He is the executive in charge of the BIOGRAPHY brand relaunch, and was nominated for an Emmy for the documentary LA BURNING: THE RIOTS 25 YEARS LATER. His projects include GARTH BROOKS: THE ROAD I’M ON, GOTTI: GODFATHER & SON, WACO: MADMAN OR MESSIAH, CULTURESHOCK, and THE MURDER OF LACI PETERSON. Brad also worked on the hit series LIVE PD.
Prior to joining A&E, Brad headed VH1’s News and Documentary programming, where he created and ran vh1’s award-winning documentary franchise, ROCK DOCS, as well as managed the channel’s flagship series, BEHIND THE MUSIC. He also developed and supervised many hit series, including HOGAN KNOWS BEST and LOVE & HIP HOP.
