Cathy has been writing and editing about marketing for almost her entire career. During the first decade of the digital revolution, she served as interactive editor of Adweek and then, Advertising Age, leading both publications’ digital coverage.
While at Adweek, Cathy founded the popular Adweek advertising blog, AdFreak, and, as a contributor to PwC’s strategy+business picked its Best Marketing Books of the year for many years. She also wrote the weekly Social Media Insider column for MediaPost for eight years, in addition to programming a variety of conferences on social media and other digital media topics for that organization.
She joined WARC in 2019 as US Commissioning Editor, and is responsible for securing U.S. marketing knowledge content for the platform.
