Conway Shui is the Senior Vice President of Executive Search for CBS Corporation where he focuses on senior level recruiting as well as succession planning. Previously, he was in Los Angeles as Time Warner’s West Coast Managing Director of Executive Search where he supported west coast executive search needs across the various divisions of Time Warner (i.e. Warner Bros., Turner and HBO). Conway partnered with the senior management and Human Resources teams of each company to deliver the highest caliber of top-tier, diverse, senior-level talent, internally and externally, essential to achieving ongoing business success and future growth.
Leveraging his extensive human capital and management consulting experience, Conway has led a number of successful executive search engagements for his client partners. His search activities have ranged from vice president to C level positions within the world of media and entertainment, internet, technology, cable, and telecommunications. Functions recruited for include TV Creative, Finance, Digital, Communications, Marketing, and Human Resources.
Before joining Time Warner’s New York City Corporate Headquarters in 2002, Conway was with Heidrick & Struggles, a premier provider of senior-level executive search and leadership development services, including executive assessment and professional development. Conway specialized in their technology practice working with a broad range of clients ranging from start up internet ventures to well established Fortune 500 companies.
Conway holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He is a founding member of the CBS Diversity Council.
