Jorge leads the NBC Sports Group research as Senior Vice President of Strategic Insights.  Jorge oversees the property Insights and measurement for NBC Sports (including Sunday Night Football and the Olympics), NBC Sports Network (including the NHL, Premier League, and NASCAR), and the Golf Channel (PGA Tour).  Recently, Jorge led NBC Sports’ 2018 sales research efforts for Super Bowl LII, the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and jointly led 2018 FIFA World Cup research strategy in generating revenue over $1.5 billion for the NBC Sports Group.  


With more than a dozen years of experience in sports at NBC Sports and the National Football League's Marketing and Sales department, Jorge has served as an expert in sports media consumption, developed thought leadership analysis including Super Bowl valuation model and creative optimization model for sports, generated fan insights across sports properties and worked to further fan engagement at the NFL, particularly among Hispanic consumers. 

Jorge previously served as the Hub Leader for UNIDOS New York, an NBCU Employee Resource Group, led the NFL's Big Brothers Big Sisters program, held a co-chair role on the NFL's Diversity Council, co-founded the NFL’s first affinity group (Women’s Interactive Network, WIN) as well as serving on the MTV Networks Diversity Council.  Jorge is also a recipient of the 2011 EL Award from El Diaro recognizing him as one of the outstanding Latino leaders in New York City.  Prior to joining the NBCU family, Jorge held the position of Director of Marketing & Sales at the National Football League and also held full-time positions at National Geographic and MTV Networks (MTV, MTV2, Spike TV) along with MBA internships at Apple and ABC News. 


Jorge received a BA in Economics from Yale University and a MBA in Finance, Marketing and Strategy from the Stern School of Business at New York University through a fellowship from the Consortium of Graduate Studies in Management.
